I can't say for the raspberry tincture but for Bach Flower Remedies the short answer is Yes.

If you think about it 4 drops 4 times a day is a negligable amount of alcohol. That said, if it's still a concern you can evaporate off the alcohol by pouring boiling water on your drops, letting the water cool and then drinking it. Doing this will not make any difference to the effect of the BFR. Plus, drinking plenty of water is good for you! The other alternative is to rub the drops on the skin.

      thank you Kath!!!

what's funny i just found a book that i forgot i had : "Bach flower remedies for women" by Judy Howard...
she tells which remedies to take for what period in the pregnancy, and post natal as well....and for labour she suggests rescue remedy...

she doesn't mention 4 drops 4 times per day, but that sounds just about right...

      wishing you all the best,

Judy Howard's book is excellent - I have a copy of it myself.

The 4 drops 4 times a day is for when/ if you feel you need to make up a treatment bottle for the times when/ if you feel you want to take specific remedies more than once.

Judy does mention this at the end of the chapter - How the Bach system works. It's a brief explanation and easy to miss but in my book which was published in 1999, it's on page 8.

        Hope this helps,

        Kath :0)

            You're most welcome.

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful pregnancy and birth. Women are built to birth babies so just focus on the fact that giving birth will demand nothing of you that is not already within you to give. Trust yourself - deep down the primal instincts for birth are still strong inside you, you just need to relax and tap into them. Michel Odent talks about this in his book 'Birth Reborn'. He says that the 3 main requirements for a birthing woman to 'turn off ' her neocortex, or the modern intelligence in humans, and to access the more primitive part of her brain for birthing are privacy, dark and quiet. If you read birth stories, lots of women talk about 'going inside themselves' or 'going to another place' during labour. This is the time when you're accessing your primal brain and no longer thinking about giving birth, you just ARE birthing.

            Best wishes,

            Kath x

While I was pregnant I took LOTS of flower essences! In my experiences it's fine, and fermented foods and drinks are especially healthy for preggers.
My opinion with flower essences is that they work by capturing the vibrations of the flowers, i would think that it would be lots of Love for a growing baby!

Red Raspberry leaf tea is going to be healthier, and have more beneficial nutrients than a tincture~ although tinctures are safe while pregnant too, as longs as the variety of herb contained in them is one that is safe!

I made a tea with red raspberry leaf, nettles, oat straw, a little chamomile and lavender flowers.

I think it's important to use herbs and flower remedies especially while pregnant because they contain yummy trace minerals, and lots of good energies that we can't find elsewhere in other kinds of foods.

    Hope this helps!

If you mean taking red raspberry as an herb, I would use it in tea (or if you are crazy like me, just chew on the leaves, they are astringent and I like that hehehe). Drink lots of water too.

Flower Essences? I bet there are a few! Alaskan has a Pregnancy Support formula: www.alaskanessences.com
You don't need much so the alcohol is quite neglible.
