Use for Lilac flower essence?

topic posted Mon, December 11, 2006 - 10:00 PM by  Geofre
Anyone have any ideas what a Lilac flower essence could be used for? I made some a while back but I could not find any current use for it in any books.

Gurudas' _Flower Essences and Vibrational Healing_ says Lilac is good for the spinal column, the posture, and aligning the chakras and the spiritual bodies.

However, although I love reading this book because it makes flower essences sound like panaceas, none of its information so far has resonated with me when I've tried essences with it in mind, and I've not been able to reconcile how different the uses are for the same essences, comparing what this book says to conventional flower essence lines. Could be it's too abstract--I tend to sense emotional changes easily, which lines like Bach work on, but am not so sensitive to things like whether my bodies or chakras are aligned.

Yeah, I only use flower essences for their psychospiritual properties because they are the only system I have found that I resonate with that works almost exclusively with that part of our being.

What colour lilac is this? Lilacs meaning is earliest love, purple meaning your my first love, white your so pure and innocent.
I guess purple and white are both spitritual colours, not exactly sure upon the meaning, have you tryed meditating on it.
I have had a similar problem in the past where I made gardenia flower essence, and another time made Daphne, I made up the meaning as I thought fit, but iv only used them on myself. :) Good luck.

      I like the Gurudas' Book
keep in mind that this is 'channelled' info....

and the best way to really know what a flower essence does is to become one or connect with the flower/plant/ tree or what ever your vibrational rem is... listen with your higher self... not yer conscious mind... allow that info to trickle down to your conscious perceptual threshold... let it speak to you... tell you or show you. take of its essence and let your body tell you... this is how we know..

For uprightness, lightness; helps those who burden themselves, refusing help from others. This is an abbriviated defintiion from Delta Gardens a very progressive flower essences research center in New Hampshire. The founder David Dalton is doing some amazing work with essences, worth looking into.

    Cheers~

        Hi Thaleia,

Together with lilac essence i put mallow flower essence as well and gem elixirs of fluorite, rutilated quartz, lodestone, petrified wood and gypsum.

I put 7 drops of each ot these mother elixirs to a droper bottle.

Two books that i found very good and comprehensive on gem and flower elixirs are: "GEM ELIXIRS AND VIBRATIONAL HEALING" (vol. 1) and
"FLOWER ESSENCES ADN VIBRATIONAL HEALING" both by GURUDAS.

This question has been bugging me since you first posted... why make a flower essence if you don't know what it's good for???

I have been under the (perhaps misguided) impression that essences are made because their use is already apparent. I didn't know that people went around making essences from whatever, waiting to see if they were useful for something...
Do a lot of people do this? Have many useful essences been discovered this way?

    I'm just curious!

One sometimes feels guided to make an essence (or do other work) without a reason or fixed purpose in mind . Later the reason, purpose and need will become clear. Some of us work from meditation and/or with Deva, the spiritual consciousness of the flower or crystal.
Lilac flower is laughter ,easing painful memories and restoring joy in one of the healing systems I learned

I have used it and discovered it helps when letting go of a difficult day.
It is great after a bad day at the office. It helps lift your mood and lighten your outlook on the day.. Much like just sitting near a lilac bush in bloom.

I have some white lilac lotion I love putting it on.
For me it helps me to feel calm and let go of worries and stress.
It uplifts my spirit as well.

      I'd agree with the Love
It is a very pleasing flower essence
      sweetly floral without being perfumery
      almost honeyied
it does feel very light when taken
I like both white and purple
White is very serene in this

I just recently tried Lilac flower essence from Alaskan Essences, and it is awesome! I just posted that it helped me to realign my body energy systems, and I felt it got "out of whack" after a surgery to remove my right ovary and healthy appendix. I have been doing other healing work too, but noticed a big boost! It is also on sale now only if you order it online, and they are wonderful to deal with! :-)
